from start to finish
about the booking and tattooing process
to have all of this information in one place is equivalent to receiving a manual on how to live a good life
These policies on pricing, scheduling, designs, and studio space exist to protect me as a freelance artist and to honor our time together! I want to be as transparent as possible about the process, so please take the time to read before booking.

…Pricing/rates…
Most pieces are priced at a flat rate. This accounts for drawing, time spent tattooing, and materials. I give a rough quote before the appointment to give you an idea of the final price. Whether it’s on the higher or lower end will depend on details, size, placement, and color.
My average quote for medium sized pieces is $450.
For larger pieces, I go by a day rate of $1000. This means 1-2 hours of drawing/stenciling and 5-6 hours of tattooing. If a piece requires multiple sessions, the rate drops to $800-900 per day.
TATTOO MINIMUM - $250
PLACEMENT - ribs, sternum, torso, and buttock areas take longer. 3 inches on the ribs, when stretched for tattooing, could be around 5-6 inches. These placements typically have a higher quote. I do not tattoo fingers, face, behind ears, or private areas.

…Submitting a request/booking flash…
via my booking page on venue
This booking page shows if my books are currently open, a collection of available and unavailable flash designs, booking info, aftercare instructions, and common faqs. All of that information will be in this post and will likely be more up to to date.
I currently have 3 options for booking: flash, flash variations, and customs. I am prioritizing flash and flash variations.
I try to respond to all requests while books are open, but due to various reasons, there is a chance I might not get back to you, in which case please do not take offense and feel free to submit again during the next booking period.
Flash/Variations
I tattoo flash 1-2 times. After that, I will make minor variations to the design. I also make variations on request! We can do different colors if they are available, slight compositional changes to fit the area better, and more.
Customs
Custom requests will be taken at a limited amount per booking period based on my interest and feasibility. When submitting your request, please include as many details as possible including placement ideas and general size. Include reference photos of my work and the area of your body that you would like tattooed. If accepted, I send drafts 1-4 days before the appointment.
…Selecting an appointment time/paying a deposit…
You will receive an email once I have approved of your request. There will be an automated follow up if you have not selected an appointment time and paid a deposit. *If you have not received an email, please check spam*
As of current, all requests have to go through my approval first before any time slots are offered. This is due to my guest spotting status for the foreseeable future. Either you can send over your preferred dates/days and times in your initial booking request (will expedite booking process) or I will ask about it after I have accepted your request. Dates available for booking will be in the announcement posts. As for time slots, I usually do 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm, with 5 pm as back up for those who cannot make the time earlier or if my bookings get filled up. I also tend to tattoo better earlier in the day.
Deposits are $100 + $10 (processing fees) and will be accepted through the venue booking site. This will be deducted from the total amount of the tattoo during our appointment. Please note, appointments are confirmed after a deposit is paid.
I allow one reschedule for free. The second reschedule will need an additional $100 deposit.
…Pre appointment…
Remember to bring your ID!
Please show up to the appointment well fed, well rested, hydrated, and clean. A hearty meal and good energy levels will give your body the fuel it needs. Drinking water and moisturizing the area starting the week prior will make the process easier for both of us.
Please wear clothing that you do not mind getting ink on and is also appropriate for the tattoo placement and size. Easy access to the area I am tattooing makes it comfortable for everyone. Most studios have nipple pasties for areas around the chest if needed as well as wall barriers I can set up to create more privacy.
Things not to do
Please no alcohol or ibuprofen 24 hours prior to the appointment. Thinner blood makes the tattooing and healing process more difficult and can compromise the final product.
Your appointment slot is a general estimate of how long it will take, but the tattoo may take longer. Please do not schedule anything directly after your appointment.
…During appointment…
I will send instructions on how to get to the studio some time during the week prior to your appointment. If you have problems locating the studio, send me a message over venue and I will help.
I ask that you only bring yourself, but if you would like to have someone join for medical reasons etc, please let me know beforehand. They will likely need to wait in the waiting area for the duration of our appointment.
Please let me know ASAP if you are running late. If you are 30+ minutes late, the slot is forfeited and you will need to book another date with a new deposit.
If you would like a quiet appointment, please let me know at any point and we will talk when needed :)
Payment methods
For US: CASH and/or Zelle
For other: CASH and/or payment through venue’s system w/ a small fee (takes credit card, apple pay)
Tips are not required but greatly appreciated. If you would like to tip through non-monetary items, I like all kinds of snacks, drinks, good quality yarn for knitting, 35 mm film, and handmade items :)
…Post appointment/aftercare…
I use saniderm or dermshield, a breathable latex free waterproof bandage. I will put this on your tattoo at the end of the session!
Keep derm shield on for 3-4 days. Plasma and blood is normal!
If red, irritated, or you feel a burning sensation, take it off! You might be having an allergic reaction.
Remove the derm shield.
Pull from a bottom corner gently towards the ground, not upwards. DO NOT rip or peel it off.
Taking it off under warm running water helps! (ex. in shower)
Clean and moisturize tattoo.
Using fragrance free soap, gently wash the area.
Pat the tattoo dry with a paper towel. No rubbing.
Moisturize with a very thin layer of Aquaphor or vaseline. You can use other scent free lotions 4 days after removing the derm shield.
Repeat 2-3 times a day.
If using cling wrap, leave on for 2-4 hours and follow the instructions in step 3 above. Make sure to keep the Aquaphor super thin so you don't suffocate the tattoo while it is fresh.
Additional Notes
Do not soak your tattoo for the first 2-3 weeks (swim, long showers, bath, excessive sweat)
Try not to pick at your tattoo when it starts to scab and flake! Let it fall off by itself.
Avoid exposure to sunlight for the first 4 weeks.
I offer free touchups as long as they are needed. Please wait 1-2 months before reaching out for one and include photos when you do :) Otherwise, send me healed photos whenever you can!!!
